Equipment Overview

This testing equipment is used to verify “the grade of protective structure by the outer contour of electrical apparatus” as specified in the JIS standard. This testing equipment can be used for both sprinkling and dripping water tests.
Drip test The ceiling tank is equipped with a nozzle for dripping.
Water sprinkler test R400mm arc tube with 25 φ0.4mm nozzles.

JIS C 0920 (IEC 60529) Second characteristic figure This device complies with the tests for protection class 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Three sides of the instrument have transparent acrylic windows for easy observation of samples.
This compact and easy-to-operate device combines two test methods, sprinkling and dripping water, in a single unit.
Applications: Lighting fixtures, measuring instruments for outdoor use, control panels, laptop computers, mobile terminals, LED bulbs, etc.
