Equipment Overview
This system is designed for corrosion testing of high-efficiency gas turbines, alloys, and oxides in a high-temperature steam pressurized atmosphere for the purpose of environmental characterization and durability testing.
A high-temperature electric furnace is housed in a pressure chamber, and an air compressor is used as a pressure source to introduce a constant flow rate into the pressure chamber from a mass flow controller, enabling pressurized heat treatment under steam addition conditions.
