Equipment Overview
This electric furnace is capable of providing a constant temperature gradient in the range of 500 to 1000°C (700 to 1200°C) by controlling the temperature inside the furnace through six temperature circuits in the longitudinal direction.
The platinum sample plates inside the furnace are heated by arranging samples in two rows in the longitudinal direction so that different samples can be measured.
The temperature range at which glass crystallization (permeation) occurs can be measured efficiently.
