Equipment Overview
Several years have passed since we changed the measurement system of the sphere pull-up type viscosity measurement from the weighted deformation of a viscosity balance to the speeded deformation of a balance with a sphere suspended (patent published in March 1993), and this method is now generally accepted. The sphere pull-up type high-temperature viscometer is a further development of the balance pull-up type system, taking advantage of the advantages of this system.
This system employs a touch panel sequencer to solve all the shortcomings and operational complexity of conventional glass viscometers, allowing fully automated measurement and immediate evaluation of results after measurement.

forte
- By replacing the balance with a load cell and entrusting the measurement operation to a sequencer, digitalization and automation of measurement have been realized.
- Good reproducibility with little individual variation in measurement.
- A wider viscosity range can be measured than before.
