Equipment Overview

This equipment combines a “high-temperature atmosphere furnace” and a “gas displacement type glove box apparatus” to melt glass in a reducing atmosphere or vacuum, then remove high-temperature samples, cast them, and prepare samples in a glove box (inert atmosphere) separated from the atmosphere.

Features

  • Sample removal (rapid cooling) at temperatures up to 1700°C in an inert atmosphere is possible.
  • Suitable for prototyping non-oxide glass (halide glass, chalcogenite glass, etc.)
  • In addition to glass, it can be applied to the development of materials affected by water vapor partial pressure.
