| 1943 | Shigeo Matsui is founded Motoyama Shokai in Imai-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka, and started selling scientific equipment |
| 1958 | Motoyama Shokai Co., Ltd established |
| 1961 | A new factory was established in Kawasaki-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka, and development and production of electric furnaces and glass testing machines began. |

A new factory established in Hirakata Osaka and Hiroshima Sales Office established |
| 1973 | Release of Ultra-High Temperature Keramax Electric Furnace |
| 1975 | Release of Ultra-Fast Heating Electric Furnace (SUPER BURN). |

| 1978 | The company's name changed to "MOTOYAMA CO.,LTD" |
| 1982 | New office is built and Head Office relocated to current location, 1-15-13 Tenma, Kita-ku, Osaka |

| 2007 | Acquired business rights of Kyoto Thermo Giken Co., Ltd. |

| 2009 | Osaka East Sales Office in Hirakata City, Osaka established |

| 2011 | Motoyama Holdings Co., Ltd. is established as a holding company |
| 2012 | Yoshiyuki Matsui becomes Chairman and Akimi Noji becomes President |
| 2014 | MOTOYAMA CO.,LTD absorbed Morita Co., Ltd |
| 2014 | Completely renovated Industrial Equipment Department's 3rd factory and opened the MOTOYAMA Test Center (MTC) and showroom |
| 2015 | Nagoya Sales Office established in Higashi-ku, Nagoya, Aichi |
| 2018 | At shareholders' general meeting, Shozo Ikawa was appointed as President and Akimi Noji was appointed as an advisor |
