By combining MOTOYAMA’s thermal application technologies honed through the development of Industrial Electric Furnaces with ANAORI CARBON’s advanced carbon and graphite innovations, we have successfully created a roaster featuring a groundbreaking carbon drum.
Unlike conventional roasters, CaVers enables temperature control, allowing heat to be distributed evenly to the coffee beans.
As a result, users ranging from coffee enthusiasts to professionals can effectively apply their desired temperature management (roasting profiles) to the beans, achieving consistently high-quality roasting results.
We have already initiated active market development, including our participation in SCAJ 2025, an international specialty coffee trade show held in Tokyo Big Sight in September last year.
The high thermal conductivity and far-infrared radiation—key characteristics of carbon—make it an ideal material for coffee roasting, where it is essential to apply heat thoroughly to the inside of the beans.
Just as carbon is an indispensable material for modern life, used in semiconductors for smartphones and automobiles, we are now bringing the potential of carbon technology to coffee roasting, opening up new possibilities for taste performance and quality.
